About Us
Welcome to PennyAuctions.info, where we strive to get you the best products at the absolute lowest, rock-bottom prices.
How low? How about one red cent? Is that really possible?
Believe it or not, you can find items just that cheap.
There are sites like Swoopo that have penny auctions also. What these sites do is sell packs of bids and then buyers use those to try and outbid everyone else.
What we do is show you items from every major eBay category that have a starting price of only one cent. Doesn't matter what it is - cars, houses, or jigsaw puzzles.
We provide a service you can't easily access directly from eBay. It's rather cumbersome to set up a maximum bid of one cent and then be able to easily click through the major categories. We do all of that for you. Plus, through our search box, you can find exactly what you're looking for -- if it starts at a penny.
Helpful Tips:
1) Watch out for inflated handling/shipping charges. Some sellers try to lure you in to buy at a penny, hoping you don't notice until it's too late that their shipping charge is so high you wind up paying retail or more for the item. Bid or buy only items that have reasonable charges attached.
2) Take note of reserve auctions - though they may start at one cent, some auctions may have reserve prices set so starting the bids at a penny doesn't really mean much.
3) If an auction listing shows on our site at a price more than one cent, it simply means this is a reserve price auction with a 'buy it now' price. Unlike the pure reserve auction where the bidder has no idea what the reserve price is, the seller in this type auction is at least telling the most you would have to pay and usually the reserve is not far below this price. Again, the item is listed simply because the start bid is one cent.
Hopefully these tips will help you while searching for that big bargain. Good Luck!
